About The Putt Away Cancer Foundation

At its core, The Putt Away Cancer Foundation is a Texas-based nonprofit organization dedicated to cancer awareness, advocacy, and community support. Founded in honor of a loved one who battled cancer, The Putt Away Cancer Foundation is committed to awareness, advocacy, and action. Through community engagement, fundraising initiatives, and survivor-centered programs, PAC works to support individuals and families impacted by cancer while educating communities on prevention and early detection.


Available Internship Opportunities

Social Media & Marketing Intern

This internship is ideal for individuals interested in nonprofit marketing, social media strategy, and storytelling.

Responsibilities include:

  • Creating content for Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn

  • Assisting with campaign planning and scheduling

  • Highlighting survivor stories and foundation initiatives

  • Supporting brand growth and audience engagement


Fundraising & Development Intern

This role is perfect for those interested in nonprofit fundraising, event planning, and donor engagement.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting fundraising campaigns and donor outreach

  • Assisting with nonprofit events and community activations

  • Researching sponsorship and partnership opportunities

  • Maintaining fundraising and donor tracking tools
