“Cancer may impact lives—but together, we can impact cancer.”

Cancer is an unfortunate thread that connects us all. It does not discriminate—affecting people of every race, age, gender, and walk of life. It commands attention, evokes fear, and often leaves devastation in its wake—not just physically, but mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

For The Putt Away Cancer Foundation, this fight is personal.

After witnessing the brave battle of Leilani Davis, our founder was moved to action. What began as one woman’s pain became a purpose—and what started as a birthday fundraiser transformed into a nonprofit built on compassion, faith, and action.

Our Why

Cancer is more than the diagnosis. It’s more than treatment plans and medical bills. For many, it means:

  • Choosing between medicine and hygiene products

  • Navigating fear and uncertainty with limited support

  • Enduring emotional and spiritual isolation

While insurance may help with hospital bills, and some programs assist with food or utilities, what about the personal needs that make someone feel human again?

This is where The Putt Away Cancer Foundation steps in—to fill the gap and inspire HOPE.

Who We Are

The Putt Away Cancer Foundation is a Texas-based, tax-exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to uplifting the cancer community through acts of service, prayer, financial gifts, and meaningful connection.

Our mission is to inspire hope through the giving of our time, prayers, and resources.
We do this by building a supportive network we call the Circle of Hope—a community committed to walking beside cancer warriors every step of the way.

What We Do

🌟 Circle of Hope Award

A small financial gift for individuals currently battling cancer, designed to help with personal care needs and bring a touch of dignity, comfort, and encouragement during their journey.
Open to all cancer patients residing in Texas.

🎓 Linda C. Bryant HOPE Scholarship

Launched in December 2018, this scholarship supports high school seniors and college students who’ve had a parent, guardian, or close family member affected by cancer.
It’s more than a scholarship—it’s a tribute to strength, resilience, and legacy.

Our Commitment

We’re not just here to raise awareness. We’re here to take action—with love, faith, and intention.
At The Putt Away Cancer Foundation, we’re building something that lasts—a Circle of Hope that wraps around every warrior we touch.
